Own the press.
The newsletter builder for WordPress that sends through your own email account.
Design beautiful newsletters inside WordPress, then send them through your own SendGrid, Mailgun, or Mailchimp account. Your list stays yours. Sending costs what your provider charges. Nobody sits in between.
A real email editor. Inside WordPress, at last.
Drag in a block and you’re looking at the email itself, not a guess at it. Every block on the canvas is rendered by MJML — the same engine that builds what you send — so what you design is what arrives.
Your posts, one click away
Pull any of your WordPress posts into the issue. The weekly roundup stops being a copy-paste job.
Set the brand once
Fonts, colors, and heading styles live in one theme. Change it, and every block in the issue follows.
Never start from blank
Seven starters, from a multi-section newsletter to The Letter, a founder’s note. Save your own as templates and your best sections as reusable modules.
Build. Connect. Send.
Three steps, and you never leave wp-admin. Keep your existing signup forms. Subscribers go straight to your provider, and Nibpress sends to the lists already there.
Build
Design your issue on the canvas or start from a starter. Preview the responsive email, then send a test to your own inbox before anyone else sees it.
Connect your ESP
Paste an API key from SendGrid, Mailgun, or Mailchimp. Nibpress checks it with the provider on the spot and stores it encrypted. It takes about two minutes, our docs walk through each provider, and you do it once.
Send
Choose a list, write a subject, and send now or schedule it. Your provider delivers it, and the campaign shows up in your ESP’s dashboard with everything else.
“Freedom of the press is guaranteed only to those who own one.” A. J. Liebling · The New Yorker · 1960
Somewhere along the way, newsletters became a rental.
You write every issue. You earn every subscriber. Then a platform keeps the list, sends from its servers, and raises the rent every time your audience grows. Want to leave? Start negotiating for your own readers.
Nibpress is built the other way around. You bring the press — the email provider you already have an account with. We build the best place to write for it.
Your list never leaves your account
Subscribers stay in your SendGrid, Mailgun, or Mailchimp account, under your name. Nibpress doesn’t copy them, store them, or charge you for them.
No middleman, so no markup
Every email goes out on your account, at your provider’s price. We’re not in the sending path, so there’s nothing for us to mark up.
Easy to leave, by design
Your issues are WordPress content, backed up with the rest of your site. Export any of them as clean HTML, and connect a different provider whenever you like.
Your provider charges for delivery. We charge for the editor. That’s the whole arrangement.
It looks right in the inbox. Yes, that one too.
Nibpress builds every issue with MJML, the open-source framework made for email’s most stubborn clients. Gmail, Apple Mail, Outlook.com, the new Outlook, and the mobile apps get exactly what you designed. Classic desktop Outlook keeps your layout and your bulletproof buttons, though it squares off rounded corners. We’d rather tell you now than have you find out on send day.

The details, done properly.

Your site stays a website
Campaigns go straight to your provider’s API, so your provider does the heavy lifting of delivery. No sending queue on your server, no cron jobs fighting your host, no subscriber table in your database, and a 50,000-person send won’t slow your site.
Keys under lock
API keys are verified with the provider before saving and encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM. Pin your own key in wp-config.php for clean staging clones.
No accidental double sends
Nibpress blocks a second send of the same issue to the same list. Resending is a deliberate act, never a slip.
Compliant by default
Your mailing address and an unsubscribe link go on every send, and nothing goes out until your address is set.
Personal, with a safety net
Write {{first_name|there}} and readers get “Hi Maya” or “Hi there.” Nibpress translates it into each provider’s own merge tags.*
Roles that fit the team
Let an editor or a client send without making them an admin. Two capabilities, any role manager, no code.
At home in wp-admin
A Newsletters screen beside Posts and Pages shows Draft, Scheduled, and Sent at a glance, with a link to every sent campaign in your ESP.
Accessible & translation-ready
Keyboard-navigable throughout, translatable, and RTL-ready.
* Fallback words work on SendGrid and Mailchimp. On Mailgun, a missing name shows blank.
For everyone who already publishes on WordPress.
Home base already exists
Your site is home base. Write the post, pull it into an issue, and send it — without a platform charging you more for every new reader.
Look like you have a design team
The sale, the new menu, the event invite. Look polished, and pay your provider what you already pay them.
Hand clients a Send button
Build each client’s brand into templates and modules once, then hand them a Send button instead of admin access. When the engagement ends, there’s nothing to migrate — the list was always in the client’s own account.
The week’s posts, as a digest
Turn the week’s posts into a polished digest without the copy-paste, sent on your own domain’s reputation at the volume pricing you negotiated.
Our promises, in writing.
Nibpress is new. We won’t show you logos we haven’t earned or quotes we haven’t collected. Here’s what we’re willing to sign instead.
We will never send your email or hold your list. Not as a feature, not as an upsell, not in a pivot.
We will never charge per subscriber. A growing audience is good news, not a pricing event.
Your work stays yours. Every issue exports as HTML. If you stop renewing, Nibpress keeps working — you just stop getting updates. [confirm this promise before launch]
Thirty days to change your mind. Full refund, no questions, no exit survey.
A person answers. Support email goes to the people who build Nibpress.

What you’ll never pay us for: subscribers, emails sent, “pro” blocks, or a cut of your sending. Your provider bills sending, at their rates.
Before you ask.
Do I need my own email provider? Isn’t that more work?
Yes — an account with SendGrid, Mailgun, or Mailchimp, and that’s the point: it’s what makes your list and your sending yours. If you already have one, you’re nearly done. If not, it’s a sign-up and an API key. Connecting is a single form: paste the key, and Nibpress checks it with the provider before saving, so a typo is caught on the spot. New to this? Mailchimp is the gentlest start; SendGrid and Mailgun suit you if you already send from your own domain. Our docs walk through each provider screen by screen.
Will my emails actually look right, even in Outlook?
Every block is built with MJML, the framework designed for email’s hardest clients. Columns hold, buttons stay clickable, and text stays readable across Gmail, Apple Mail, Outlook.com, the new Outlook, and the mobile apps. Classic desktop Outlook keeps your layout but shows rounded corners as square — that’s Outlook’s Word engine, and no email tool fully gets around it. Before any real send, Send test puts the issue in your own inbox so you can check it yourself.
You’re brand new. What happens to me if Nibpress doesn’t make it?
You’d lose less than with any platform. Your list lives in your ESP account. Your issues are WordPress content in your own database, and each one exports as HTML. Nibpress is GPL software, so the copy on your site keeps working whatever happens to us. We built it so that even our failure can’t take your audience.
Why not another WordPress newsletter plugin, or my ESP’s own editor?
Most WordPress newsletter plugins turn your site into a mailing system — subscribers in your database, email queued through your server or the plugin’s paid sending service. Nibpress leaves the list and delivery to a provider built for them, and puts its effort into the part you see every week: the editor. Against your ESP’s built-in editor, you write where your content already lives, pull in your posts, and keep your designs in WordPress instead of locked inside one provider’s account.
How do people subscribe, and where are my stats?
Subscribers come through your provider’s signup forms, or any WordPress form plugin that connects to your provider — the forms you already have keep working. Open and click stats live in your ESP’s dashboard, where the data is; each sent issue links straight to its campaign there.
Can I use a provider you don’t support? Are my keys safe?
Yes — export the finished HTML and paste it into any tool (you’re then responsible for the footer there). Keys are validated before saving, encrypted with AES-256-GCM, and only administrators can manage them by default.
